It starts small, try to find out what alloy it's made out of, it should be 7075 at least. That small nut has a big job.

Put red nuts (both sides) on mine. Will post some pics later so you can see what it looks like. BTW that nut is pretty tight. I re-torqued it to 10Nm less than the specified settings (once I'd changed the nut obviously;)) but then when I came to remove it again it was even tighter than before :confused:. Top tip, have a look in the forum for what others are setting the nut at, there are a few who have it tightened to a fair bit less than what the book says without any problems. I will have a look to see what company I got mine from. The R/H/S nut that I got came complete with the conical washer attached to it (also in red) so you don't get a silver ring (original conical washer) around a red nut against a black wheel.:D

Here are the pictures as promised. I got the R/H nut (the one complete with the conical washer) from Ebay.de, the seller goes by the name of macgreifer. I do find that German Ebay has a better selection of parts for this bike compared to the UK, but I suppose it all comes down to what you're looking for.
