Driven them most of my life working on them, but never owned one, and LS2 is about as high as I made it up the engine ladder, so to speak.

My first crack at a LS7, they still have to put new tires on it. Then ill have a go ;)


I don't trust the valves, so I'm going to get the heads done when the powertrain warranty runs out in 3 months.

Yeah, I've read all about that on the forum for years. I never had a problem and have a friend who has had one for eight years with no problems. But I also know guys who have had the problems, although most of them have tracked their car. Either way I think it is worth upgrading.

Nice Corvette. I always had Rx7 FD like a previous poster on the thread as I'm a big fan of low weight pure sports cars, but the newer Corvettes do really well on track and showed me their rear end on many occasions even though I had 500bhp in the Rx7 and 2/3 of the weight.
