It wasn't so much that the materials or ideas were any different than anyone else. It was attention to detail makes it look like it was built in a clean room with alien technology. Some of the little touches on the BMW remind of me of that. Hopefully some ride reports come out eventually, would love to hear more about it.

yes! i too was immediately drawn to the beauty of that swingarm. as much as i love the sssw, i could give that up for a double sided one that looks like this suter piece. who knows, maybe theyll stick a double on the V4 R.

Outstanding pics and info from Urs as usual. Unfortunately, were not going to see anything remotely this nice out of Ducati. Look at the swingarm they are using on the WSBK effort. The sectioned a stock unit instead of fabricating a new one. I wish Ducati would just throw in the towel and supply motors (ones that don't shed material or leak) and a frame to a real fab shop and have them make the high end bikes using the right pieces.

I haven't watched a WSBK race this year. They went back to a stocker!?!?! When Gigi came in, I noticed that they were immediately running a longer and substantially more beefed up one. I have to imagine that getting the flex right on a SSSA is a lot harder at the power levels they are running.
