gilesr6. if you bought a 2012 pani you cannot see the oil level without putting the bike on the stand having a high powered flashlight and pulling on the fairing to maybe be able to see the oil level. This to me was totally unacceptable. Since the design was terrible with the exhaust cans and they happened to melt my fairing i requested the new one.
the 2013 fairing has an oil viewer. its a plastic viewing whole where you can see your oil level no problem. i stated to the dealer i will not accept the recalled bottom fairing without the oil viewer. A month later i got my new fairing with NO oil viewer. I escalated my anger to Ducati NA. A month later i got the new fairing with the oil viewer.
