Brake Light Eliminator Plug Throws Error Code

I know this has been brought up before, but I purchased the brake light eliminator plug, removed my turn indicators and tail tidy. Plugged in the Ducati brake light eliminator plug and the yellow triangle immediately appears on the dash. Remove the plug and just leave it unplugged, same yellow triangle. Doesn't seem to make any difference. I left the eliminator plug connected and put it back together. I am going to a track day this weekend and was hoping not to have issues. Anyone have a fix for this? I believe it's okay to just run it the way I have it with the yellow triangle lit up and it won't cause any damage?

Appreciate any input.
Thanks

no damage, and the v2 and new v4 detect the tag light and turn signals disconnected.

Is there an issue with the ducati OEM brake eliminator plug in general? I have the NRC tail eliminator and is there some issue with the two together?

I think the problem comes matching the plug to your specific year and model bike. IIRC, there were changes along the way and the resistance the bike is looking for isn't there and you get an error code.

There's no problem with riding with the error light on, but you won't be able to see if a new error pops up.

LOL, I just ordered the kickstand plug and the taillight plug for MY21 V2 from Ducati Omaha. They informed me that the taillight plug is not available and has no ETA and they don't know if they will get them. I wonder if someone figured out that it doesn't work for the V2?

So, after another season of track days with tail light covered in tape, is their a tail light eliminator plug yet that is available that actually works? Still would like a solution.
Thanks!

Ducati Omaha site lists that it’s the same p/n as the V4. Have you considered ordering it from Vulturbike? Speculation, but I wonder if they are an OEM supplier for Ducati. I got my V4 tail light plug from them and it worked perfectly.

The guy above already has that same part # and it does not work. Jetprime is the only other option as far as I know, besides the one you mentioned

What's the error code though? Just the triangle on the dash isn't enough information.

There's a separate terminator for the rear tail (tidy tail related lights) which excluding the brake light. Over the production run of the Panigale, the resistance value changed. This is evidenced with the different plugs required to interface with the tail wiring not related to the brake light.

With these two, I don’t get an error on a 21 V4S.

Is the error from the brake light or the tail assembly (turn signals and license plate lights)?

Thank you for the feedback! I just ordered the license plate eliminator and will try as soon as it arrives. I don't have the eliminator for the kickstand but have decided to keep the stand intact so seems it won't be necessary. Now all we need is some sunshine so track day season can begin!
