It is brake pad time

The brakes on the 22 23 models are really amazing.

Don’t know if it is just the master cilinder, but they are far better than the ones on the 19 bike.

What brake pads are you guys using?

I was running vesrah XX on the last bike, and like the progressive feeling, but don’t know if there are better options out there

I like the galfer race pad. Really linear and good power. Take a couple of feet to heat them when dead cold.

I use the Double HH EBC myself...$30 for a pair, pretty much a no brainer...they last one day, or about 36laps at Cota...thats with a 175mph to 40mph on the back straight...i'm happy with that performance myself...and economical

There are 3 different types of EBC pads FA and the EPFA and GPFAX

FAs are cheap and good all round use

Had great luck using the EPFA for track and street

GPFAX need heat to work and are track use only sort of brakes. heard they take a little getting used to.

Have a set of Brembo Z10 ready for this season, but haven't tried them yet
Liked the Brembo SC pads way better than the oem pads on the 959, and the V4 oem brake pads went away pretty fast

I either had a moment of near mental retardation or maybe my latte didn't kick in yet, but I had a heck of a time finding the correct part numbers for the EBC HH pads.

Front: FA447HH

Rear: FA266HH
