Brembo recall

at 5.7 you could get a killer bod with beter definition than a taller boy, (just some work and discipline )besides the tall boys cant fit into fighter jet cockpits ...or should I say once they are in we cant close the canopy:eek:

what:) do they say rather a wide boy than a wide mouth :D:D

I was just winding the purists up...

but you know fat boys dont look good on much.....apart from a Burger commercial...:):)

Please take me with some salt...after all Im with Thermalater in September and he will ... me up and throw me to the male porn stars....:p

Killer bod would never happen as I'm allergic to eating dust. Me likes proper food that tastes good and various ales to wash it down. So still fat forever

As for fighter jet cockpits, canopies and pilots. In my experience most faster jet jockeys are bellends with vastly over inflated egos. Support helicopter pilots are the same just a fair bit more humble and appreciative of us engineers! Whilst I used to fix everything engine, fuel related and ground run the mighty Panavia Tornado. It was getting stuck in a fuel tank because of my massively wide shoulders that's was the problem! I may of had to get semi naked to get out! These days I do airframe repairs, And I am currently fixing a little known aircraft called a Spitfire and very nice it is too. Even if it is made out of tinfoil!

My bike has been called in for warranty how ever the part is about a month out according to Ducati. Warranty has been submitted just awaiting on the part.

I'm getting ready to take delivery of a Superduke GT. The bike arrived at the dealer yesterday. The dealer had to order a the part. He said it is in stock and he is overnighting it. I don't know if he meant in stock at KTM or elsewhere, but it seems as though they should be able to find you one. But in your case you have the bike and can still ride it. I can't take delivery until it's fixed.

In Sydney and not heard anything, but I'm the second owner, so how would Frasers contact me? I'm going to call them, let you know what they say.

When are you taking it in? Did you need to book? Will they do it while you wait? Thanks Phil

Im taking it in this Sat. They were originally pretty booked out, but since i mentioned it was a brake recall, they put it as a high priority and slotted me in for this Sat morning.

They said it would take an hour or so.

Cheers

I've phoned and waiting on a call back! I've got warranty to look at as well, cracked TFT dash screen... see what they say!

im from Sydney too, they told me they had a two waiting time, .... Frazers i hate em, id rather get the part and do it myself.

Had my 1299 S in yesterday (Wednesday) at Fraser Concord Sydney for the brake recall work to be done.

I was there no more than 1.5 hours.

The recall work would have taken less than 30 mins. The extra time was because I had some other issues I wanted them to look into for warranty.

Professional throughout.

Just my 2 cents.

Booked in at Frasers Concord next Wednesday. Also have warranty stuff to be assessed. Cracked dash screen, got asked if I had an after market high screen that have no UV protection! It's stock and barely sees the sun.... Clutch master cylinder cover vibrates loose at a track day and sprayed fluid all over the fairing screen. Asked about my weeping water pump and got told unless it's a large puddle under the bike after every ride, then it's not warranty, it's working as it's designed!

Returned from Fraser's over the weekend after 2hrs. Had other issues to be looked at, one being a few drops of coolant after every ride. Mechanic assured me a few small drops here n there is ok.

However, the other more serious issue to be looked at was a small oil leak from the engine. Was told to put on another 200km to see exactly where the leak was coming from.

Spent 2.5 hours at Frasers Concord yesterday to have this 15min job completed and look at my cracked dash and clutch fluid damaged windscreen. They were very nice but 2.5hrs was a bit much after I was told when I booked it would take an hour all up. Asked about my coolant leak after a ride and was told if it wasn't a puddle, it wasn't a problem and the factory wouldn't acknowledge a claim existed.

Well as previously mentioned my Bike didn’t come upon the Ducati recall page. Dealer said it would be affected, infact two dealers said it would be. It was booked in on the 6th March but I had to cancel due to snow. It was rebooked in for last Saturday. I told them I’d still had no contact from Ducati. Anyway job was done. They phoned me today and left a message asking for a copy of the recall letter!
I wonder what will happen now? They obviously had all the bike details to check this out as well!

Oh yeah and now the front brake needs bleeding as it's become spongey! I just don't get it!

That's a bit odd mine is spot on no sponginess. They can't have bled the system correctly.

Mine felt amazing right after, then developed the spongyness later on.

I have just got back from a 160 mile evening rideout and it's still ok. I will keep an eye on it.
