I thought about the triple clamps too, question have you changed offset and if so which offset have you tried and what was the outcome/ what did you like or dislike ?

I have set it up at the stock OEM 30 degrees and want to make sure I have the geometry correct (re: placement/depth of tubes) before I start fiddling with the offset. Besides, I had the bike absolutely dialed in before my crash and the only reason I replaced it was because of damage to the original unit - broke both steering stops offs during a bike on bike 100-mph collision.
Almost done the rebuild and this coming weekend will/would be the first time out for a shake-down; however, it looks like rain.

Thanks. Severe concussion and a neckbrace for 10 weeks followed by a couple of months of phisio therapy, but I’m good to go now.

Glad you are okay. Bike was probably pretty beat up after the crash I guess.

The airbag suit are a life saver. Good thing you had it.

Indeed, that and a good helmet.
It's amazing that i did not have a scratch on my body, not a broken collar bone or a bruise.
Getting a Leatt neck brace after that one.

I ordered an IMA Special Parts Thumb-braking System, with fork mount and a set of their adjustable clip-one. They ship Tuesday. I’ll post the installation sometime over the next few weeks.
