Bridgestone RS10

Might I inquire where you guys are finding such good prices on these tire? Everywhere I check a set seems to be around $350.

Ya even tho people say the Q3 is a 190 and measures 203mm it's still not as tall as the stock Pirelli, that's why the feel a bit flatter. I'm a big q3 fan but will probably give these a go.

not doing a gotcha here but the q3 is 193.5 mm vs 193 for the pirelli but they arent as tall you are correct.

how much are the rs10

Will do I check them right before I ride. I noticed some orange peel on the right side of rear so that makes me think my Oem shock was done. Or set wrong but it was the only setting where the bike felt ok.

Have a google on "cold tear". Make sure it's not that. If it is, most likely incorrect pressure (to high for your speed, especially if you ride hard/fast). Tyre might not have a chance of heating enough before being hammered. This is the number one tyre killer on track.
Alternatively, maybe compression/rebound or other suspension setting.

they offer 3 tires the r10 evo rs10r and rs10 now which compares to what. the rs10 looks most street to me the r10 evo most track and rs10r most middle?

ok more clarity

r10 evo (r = racing) not a street tire and i am having a hard time finding it.
rs10r (rs = race/street) agressive track day and canyons i would assume hard to find as well
rs10 see above more aggressive than the s20 less tread life. racing/street. most commonly found of the 3.

at retail prices q3 is 248 these are about 275 not that big of a difference but the dunlop every spring have a 40 rebate so 208 vs 275 is a bigger difference.

so what compares to what rs10 =q3 and sp?
r10r is compared to the sc and the gp-a ?
where does the rs10r fall?

does anybody think the companies should try a better naming process or a better way to showcase the levels of tires? even the dealers dont know what is up

Bridgestone ran a rebate on the RS10 also..was $50....on a pair.... I think these manufacturers are doing a pretty good job on both the tyre tech and pricing...

yea tech is great and gets better all the time. pricing yes as well but these names and variations im all confused lol

just got off with bridgestone. rs10r is japanese tire not in europe or north america but fall between the r10r and the rs10. now he also said they are very constant no drop off but wear out very quickly at the track. he said some guys only get one or 2 track days out of them and they are working on that . .... that.
r10 is equal to the sc and gpa
rs10 is equal to the sp and he said better than the q3. i take that with a grain of salt.

im sure these are fine for the street though.

ps only rebates right now are motorcross tires and goldwing. why dont we make a section on the forum to announce tire rebates i can do dunlop if you like

I think it may be the suspension for 2 reasons.

1. it started after I installed the GP Shock.. I probably ...... something up lol.
2. Its only on the right side and its about 6 inches long around the rear tire. Nowhere else..

I got the same thing. The guy that set my suspension said it was improper rebound. Did a great job setting the suspension for me but I haven't been able to go to the track yet. Just feels much more planted on my usual back roads.

Here is a pic of what it was before.

Exactly just confined to a small area. So i screwed up.. Awesome. Markbilt has the bike so it will be fixed.. Thanks dude..

Mark you just lost me with all of that lol.. I'm gonna run these on the street only.. I'm gonna give the M7RR's a swing then these..

BTW a set of these is $270 at Rocky Mount ATV

ok make it simple if you are confused

r10 evo is a race tire cant buy in the store
rs10r is japanese only cant get in the states or europe
rs10 is the tire here. competion is the pirelli sp. s20 seem to be the street tire to get. i love the q3 but as whoop said diameter sets off the traction control like crazy. these seem not to.

dont last on the track according to bridgestone. no idea about the street. bridgestone is trying to make them last longer.
