Thanks guys, haven't had a chance to take her out on her maiden voyage yet!!! Can't wait til tomorrow!!!!

Congrats on the bike...

For those out in the DC area, try Duc Pond Motosports The Mid-Atlantic's ONLY Ducati exclusive Dealership! out in Winchester Va. The owner, Donner Unger, is an ex-racer and they do deal. I tried Battley's in Rockville and they have the stock 'MSRP' answer. Must be because they sell Harleys also...

Picking up a 2012 1199S from Duc Pond today for 21K. Plus Ducati is paying the first 6 months for another 2K off.

flat black!!!

But then yours wouldn't be nearly as unique...

What ever happened to your modded OEM exhaust project? IIRC you had some dyno runs to test your configurations recently?

Ducati Santa Barbara. When the Pani first came came out I called every Ducati dealer from San Diego to the Bay Area and everyone was selling the Pani thousands of $ above MSRP. I offered cash and Beverly Hills Ducati practically laughed at me and said somebody will buy it in the next three days. I will never do business with them and no one else would budge except Ducati in Fresno CA. Who's price was MSRP plus set up/Ca tax and license. A buddy of mine told me to try Ducati Santa Barbara. I thought they went out of business but they had moved to another location. So I called them and spoke to the owener who said come in before I go to Fresno because he would give me a better deal. So I did. These guys are professional racers and knows what it takes. Carlin Dunne the owner won Pike Peak back to back shattering the record and then shattering his own record the following year. They understand how to set up bikes perfect for racing and gives you personal service. I don't take take my bike anywhere else for service. I made the mistake taking it to Pro Italia big mistake I had a bad experience with their service department. Their parts department is good though. Ducati Santa Barbara understands that there isn't huge profit margin in sales but returning customers for service is where they make their money.

Thanks For the Explanation. Too bad Santa Barbara is too far away from where i live.

lol Congrats. Personally I like it in red but I would rather it be black.

LMFAO. Buy 2 then mate. You guys and gals over there are blessed. I payed just over 40k for my 2012 1199 Tri, down here in the (Highly over taxed) back waters of Australia.

What did I get for that 40k I hear your ask?

Just the bike, a smile and a ride carefully in that rain out there on those "green" tyres mate, as I left the dealers.

Ha ha ha, those figures you mention wouldn't buy the base model here, and that's last years model I'm talking about.

Holy Hell, I might just buy 5 base models, Ship them to AUS. and Sell them for 30k each. 35k Profit. Minus at least 10k in shipping and handling and the wait time to sell. Who's with me?

Import tax on the other side is where you get raped.

Also someone on this forum thought they'd be clever and import a US Panigale to Aus, and it failed the noise test even with the stock cans.

Prices as listed in Australian Motorcycle News. 26th June 2013.

Excluding on-road costs mind you.

1199 Panigale ABS: $26,990
1199 Panigale S ABS $33,990
1199 Panigale S Tricolore $39,990

No mention of the "R" yet. Its probably under going some type of "Luxury Vehicle Tax" evaluation by the Australian Government. lol

Probably guessed I haven't bought too much bling for my girl yet. Would need to remortgage the house for that.
