Buying Akrapovic full exhaust from an international site

Yea I had no problems what so ever. Ducati installed the exhaust and uploaded the map shortly there after. If you want to save a significant amount of money I'd go that route. Lots of vendors here want to make that profit margin instead of giving that same discount.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply.. I've been waiting about 2 months for the exhaust to finally come in and was hoping once it did I wasn't going to have to take the bike to get dyno'd.

Before I bought from WRS, I asked my local Ducati dealer if they could match the price... the guy laughed and said that's "cheaper than what they paid". Guess with that attitude they will likely lose business.

A couple vendors here had the same attitude so I didn't purchase from them. Mine took about a month to come in. Did they give you a tracking number?

Not yet, guy told me they were just told it woupd be back ordered now until mid November (ordered in Aug).

I got a good price locally, when I enquired at WRS said they would register the exhaust against my VIN with Ducati and the local dealer here said it would be 120 to download and install.

Wow that's a ...... dealer. Mine didn't charge me anything.

What you mean going? They've always been there.

Since their inception I'd bet.

hit up @cycler
I think you’ll be happy u did

I'd pump the brakes on that. I had a good experience 10 months ago, but others have had issues.

You would need to source a T800 and go that route...[sic]

Having used two T800 tunes on my 2021, I absolutely recommend Daniel @DeussenEngines for a tune. Same platform as SLR/Bren, awesome support. I used his tune on my bike at my 2nd ever track day this weekend and my God. It feels much better than the T800 tune I had, which I used at my first track day with arguably a better long straight. I can't speak enough for it.

The only way I'd do T800 in hindsight is if your budget was limited and you had to go with a Termi slip on which came with a T800.

My dealership has always taken care of me and didn't charge me any of those fees. I've also received a hefty discount when I purchased my V4. They also through in a leather jacket for half off.

Probably because I'd assume no one in florida really buys a ducati. All japanese bikes with stretched swingarms to fast in a straight line. Florida as a state probably has ducatis sitting on the showroom floor a while.

You're not wrong. Flat and straight here. Most turns we have is snake road or 9 turns by the highway
