Yes...I agree it ALMOST does seem insane. What I mean by a smaller bike is that it should be a bit friendlier to ride on our tighter tracks. Not that the 1199 doesn;t handle well, it does of course, but this is a very special bike. IMHO

Plus a a few of you hit it on the head. My main concern was the crashability of the 1199, as well as the expense of parts. 675 parts are easier to come by at the track.

And finally, I am thinking about racing next year, and I wanted to go MW.

Nice bike! I have been thinking about making the same switch myself. It will give me something to ponder over the winter. :)
