Are you planning to track it?

Yes. The looming California exhaust law and having a full shiny Termi' will no doubt attract a lot of "fixit ticket" hassles which will no doubt lead me down the path of making the bike a full track bike. Hence why a lot of modifications on the bike are track related.

Makes sense. I'm actually in the same boat, finding most of my mods are towards track use. I got T-Boned at 16th and Harrison a few weeks ago, which makes me even less inclined to keep the 1199 on the street.

Killthrash, sorry to hear you got T-Boned in SF. Trust this was not on the 1199 ? I lived in SF for 13 years during that time I had no bike incidents although I had my car smashed in a fair few times and one my bikes got stolen. I reckon SF riding is more suited to a motorcross bike. I guess Alice's Cafe and Highway 1 kind of make up for everything.

I often pop into SF to have Pizza and to sail my boat on the bay.

yo caliduc

whats your thought on the rizoma axel protector front and rear
i had a quick look front looks resonable to get, but back seems very expensive.

how much did the whole exhaust cost to brake down and ceramic coated & put back together?

BlueBear, I am very happy with both the front and rear Rizoma axel protectors. The pictures do not really give them justice and as such I would recommend you check them out from one of your dealers. The Rizoma rear axel protector is pricey, however it is a real work of art. It comes with a custom tool for quick installation and removal of the rear hub protector. When the rear or front axel protector is fitted you can not use the relevant stands.

With regards to the exhaust the Tech Mechanics are pretty skilled and they charged me for 3 hours total time, to pull a full Termi' off the bike, strip it down, re-assemble it and put it back on the bike. You can get rates from Jet Hot or in your case a local dealer as this all depends on what work and how fast you require it to be completed.

Gorgeous bike Cali...my question is, how many miles do you have on that thing??

She's pretty, but is she neglected? ;-)

Great mods

Thanks for sharing! Inspirational!
Having owned my share of Ducs and spending a lot on carbon jewelery, I try to focus on those mods that make the bike faster or better. But I'm still a sucker for a few sexy bits. You have all the goodies!
@killthrash I ride in the city with my tricolore so sorry you got tboned! Hope your body is intact!

cali has those pipes with the silver coating change colour?

im curious to know if they do or not even after how many miles you put on them

im interested in doin the exact same to my pipes
