Chain Cleaner and Lube

Wondering what everyone is using and recommendations.

I’ve been an advocate of DuPont degreaser and lube but now I’m in the Italian game I’m wondering if I have the right stuff.

As far as lube goes -Maxima Chain Wax,Tried a few brands over the years and found this one the best for me as far as fling off.I apply,wipe excess off with rags and let sit overnight before riding. Fortnine has a great youtube video comparing various chainlubes but I cant get the MucOff product they tested.

also watched fort-nines videos on cleaner and lube. ipone and gear oil worked the best. muc-off ranked close. ipone is unobtanium stateside.

....so I picked up 2 cans of both cleaner and lube from muc-off and some ceramic foo-foo stuff to break the free shipping threshold.

trying to do 500 mile intervals. i used kerosene the first two times but no more after watching the video.

edit.. pledge works well to clean up what flings off under the tail.

Diesel is a good cleaner, as for lube i give it a wipe with gear oil making sure i get rid of the excess. Its not rocket science

Whoa, thanks for clarifying captain obvious. I almost signed up at MMI to become a motorcycle technician but you cleared it right up.

WD40 as cleaner works great and is cheap, Motul On Road Chain Lube, spray it on rotate the wheel 15-20 times, wipe off the excess lube and you're ready to go...

calm down and unwad your panties, you're the guy asking about chain lube wtf! Get on google, I'm sure you can watch hours and hours of vid on chain lube, ask on multiple forums or just for the hell of it go and buy a bottle something with "chain lube" on the label and throw caution to the wind.
