which chain oil do you guys use ?

here from ducati they tell me castrol, but all my friends are telling me that its not a good oil.

and which engine oil ducati tell us to use??

Ive been using the motul stuff that comes in a tube and just brush it on. Everything else i have tried just flicks off

Keep the chain clean, so that you don't have dust leaching oil from the rings.

Shine it up with a very lightly oiled rag and job done :)

back in Germany i used "Profi Dry Lube" - you can order it form louis.de

the best product ever! over here i tried several different ones, but i miss the above mentioned. can't find it in the US.

back wheel stand

anyone know were can i buy a stand for my back wheel??

any website i can find maybe for both wheels? i only find U.S sites and they dont deliver in eu

Just don't fix the vertical valve cover leaks and you basically have an auto-oiler if you ride fast enough.

yes.

Dupont Multi-Use Teflon ... might be called something else now. Best stuff I've ever used, and something ridiculous like $6 a can at Lowes.

It wasn't sold in Canada, so I bought about 15 cans last time I was in the States. Should last awhile.

Review from webbikeworld:

Chain Wax here too, good stuff. Made more off road use. Sticks well to the chain without collecting tons of dirt.

+10 :)

-- after many years of using all the different lubes & waxes which causes all kinds of debris/crap/dirt and dust to stick to the chain, i found that the best way to keep your chain performing/looking the best is:

-- first, clean it off completely (WD-40 followed up with a full wipe down, (as X-box suggests) but, then i take a sewing machine oiler (small test tube like vial with a long needle tip) and put 1/2 drop of motor oil directly on the O rings....not much more than 1/2 drop, or it will fling off, and weep on to the exhaust...each and every O ring (anything to get me out of the house) :)

Silkolene Pro Chain Lube here. It's oil. It comes in a spray can. 'Nuff said.

We need a video of this...for those long winter evenings....:D

have a look at pit-bull, their stands are great. you will need to email them for a quote to ship to europe though. They shipped mine to the UK I think I paid 60USD or something. Well worth it, its a work of art.
