topolino: the process is "hard chrome plating" (in german "hartverchromen"), shock sox from Buy Shock Sox online now. The 10 Second Removable Fork Seal Protector.

Sloopy: I have no expirience yet. Rotors are still new. Just mounted out of the box.

bradp51: Yep, Ilmberger. I installed this product because of weight reasons, and it wont be destroyed by heat whereas CF does.

Thanks I just assumed it was carbon fibre. What is it made of.

Gecko what size shock sox did you order for your bike. Also I seem to remember GunnyFitz had some on his bike but they were branded. Not sure if they were the same product.
