Did you get that fairing bracket from Europe? How much was shipping if so? Thanks

Yeah ordered from their website. Total was 190 euros shipped ($230)

Conversion rate is horrible right now unfortunately.

Looks really nice in black finish and the welds are beautiful. I'll send more photos when I have time to install it.

Thanks, I'd like to see that installed, curious, does it have the two bolt mounts for the headlights? I have the DP OEM bodywork and it uses a false headlight assembly, so I would still need to be able to mount that.

I'm not sure, but I will check when I install it. I've removed my headlights for good.

I got the race option that comes with the IMU bracket, and obviously it has the mounting plate for the dash screen. You can see two small tabs coming out from the dash screen plate that might be for the headlights?

As this is the race version, it may not be designed to mount with the headlights, but like I said I will check for you when I get around to it.

They are pretty good with communication too so if your'e in a hurry you could always send them an email.

I'm in no rush, thanks, not sure when my next track day will be, probably early next year.

I'd just rather have one of those on the bike as opposed to the OEM (I guess expensive) unit.

Yeah--nice little weight savings too. Eventually I will upgrade to a tight-tails rear sub-frame too. Stripping the bike of it's non-essentials really adds up to some significant weight savings when it's all said and done....

Motoholders makes one for stock bodywork, you'll need that one.

Figured I would update my own thread. Some of these photos are elsewhere already but over the last few months I've done the following:

- Racing covers
- Axle sliders
- Race air filter
- Samco hoses
- DP Race screen
- MotoXP Fairings
- MotoHolders front fairing stay (still needs to be installed)

I've just got the fairings mounted for fitment check, next they need to come back off along with the exhaust cans and cooling fan so I can start fitting the oil pan and mount up the fairing stay. Also working on removing any non-essential wiring and electrical. Bike is pretty much at a point of no return...she'll never see the street again.

The motoholders fairing stay is a really beautiful piece, and this version comes with the IMU plate welded on. Supposedly plug and play, hopefully so!

Looking good! Now you just need the H2O Performance Radiator and some carbon wheels! Keep the updates coming!

looks damn good and great work putting everything together.

Thanks guys! I'm really happy with how things are coming together so far. Also @1299DUC, I don't think the rulebook allows for carbon wheels. Either way, too rich for my budget right now and that money would be better spent on suspension and tuning before wheels, although I want them.....along with all the other shiny bits, of course!

I got the front fairing stay swapped out last night without any hassle. The black finish on the Motoholders stay looks awesome on my bike and is much more "bare" compared to the factory stay.

I am noticing that my clutch and brake master cylinders are hitting the fairing bracket just before the steering stop. Probably preventing about a half inch of full steering range. Not something I would notice on track but technically would fail tech so I'll need to make a small adjustment to fix that.

Photos are kind of garbage due to low light and iphone - I'll try to get some better ones next time I'm working on it.

Next on the to-do list is to remove the cooling fan and exhaust so I can get the oil pan fitted up, and I also think I'm going to buy a lightweight battery too.

Tell me , is your Motorholders bracet welded up square? Mine isnt , just above the decal the weld is not square . Seems to bolt up ok , the IMU holder is out of whack as well.
Anyone have photos of how they rubber mounted the IMU?

I didn't give it a very close look, but I will check for you and let you know. Also just test fitted the IMU bracket mount briefly and it seemed fine...

I'm just planning to stick some rubber washers on should be pretty straightforward (hopefully)

I had the same issue with my reservoirs barely hitting. Just push/bend them down a little bit at a time until they clear. it has worked for me for over a year of track and racing. Hope it helps.

It's not the reservoirs its the master cylinders themselves, but I checked last night and it's limited maybe 1.5mm of travel so, no big deal. I can adjust the bump stop slightly if needed. Thanks!

I'm just trying to find out if it's necessary to use rubber washers/gromet when mounting the IMU on the motoholders bracket. Not sure if that vibration will affect the brain. Does anyone know?

ECU Error

I plugged the dash screen and IMU back in last night and turned the key on (did not start engine.)

Bike is showing !ENGINE error and according to user manual this combo of lights is pertaining to the ECU. Not sure if this is to do with the IMU or if I did something else...need to diagnose. Bike is also showing -2 degrees of lean while on the pitbull stand. Not sure if that's because it's actually leaned over 2 degrees or if the IMU is off but either way, that shouldn't throw an error code. (If the bike was on it's kickstand it would be leaned over much more.)

Ideas?

Anyone know if/where I can buy a code reader to avoid having to go into the dealer every time? Used to have one for my old BMW and it saved me thousands of dollars over the course of ownership.

The DP OEM track kit comes with 3 electrical block off's for the headlight, taillight and side stand.

Might want to check to see if these can be bought, either OEM or aftermarket.

I haven't removed the side stand yet.

Was told headlight plugs shouldn't throw an error code if not plugged off, but the rear brake might. I guess that could be it...perhaps an ABS ECU fault?

I'll get all the plugs and go from there. You don't know the part #'s do you?

I really don't think it's the IMU yet. I made sure not to key on the bike until it was re-mounted on the new bracket and it seems to be at the same angle/position as it was on the stock fairing stay.

These were the parts numbers for the whole fairing kits, but I don'y know the individual part numbers for the electrical block off's

Can you take a couple more pictures of the IMU mounted.

Required plugs are for the rear brake light, sidestand , and led headlights. Standard headlights don't need a plug. That engine light will also come on if quick shifter is disconnected.
