Yeah I haven't removed the kickstand yet and base model has no LED, so the tail light is the only thing that might be an issue.
I'm going to try disconnecting the battery and letting everything reset.

Getting a few different suggestions from folks. Looking more closely at the users manual it's got to be one of these issues based on what the dash is showing me:
I think (and hope) it's just a pressure or temperature sensor.
Error problem solved. It was the air temp sensor left behind in the headlight unit.
But can anyone tell me what this connector on the right is for? The wiring is bound together but I can't find that piece in the workshop manual. What's it for?

Not sure about that plug, but you shouldn't need a plug for the rear brake like people are saying (I don't use one and no codes etc.). You just need to disconnect the cable under the right side fairing. Then it just never thinks the rear brake is being applied.
Obviously an issue if you use rear ABS, but since you just track like me, that is likely disabled due to race mode, so it doesn't matter a bit.
I'm curious how the belly pan install went or if you completed it yet? I have the same issue. I have the pan from MotoXP, but haven't bothered installing. Track day rides haven't required it, but I'm looking to do some racing the same as you and it's required.

Yeah honestly I don't even use my rear brake so it's not a big deal but I'm just a bit anal about little things being done "right" so I'm going to get the plug for it to avoid any codes or disabling of ABS.
Have not fitted the belly pan yet....I started taking the exhaust apart last night but it got late and I was getting frustrated. Working on this bike can be a huge PITA sometimes....I need to invest in some new tools that will make certain jobs easier. I'll be out on work travel for a couple weeks so nothing else will get done here for a little while. Still need to also remove the cooling fan.
I'm going to order the Kraaitech drain plug as well because there is no way I'm going to take this exhaust on and off 5 times a year.
A bit of progress last night.
Got the radiator fan and exhaust off, and installed my new Shorai lightweight battery.
The weight savings from the stock battery to the Shorai is hard to believe....significantly smaller and lighter. Requires some foam inserts as you can see pictured but otherwise plug and play no drama.
I need to get some spacers for when I remove the kickstand bracket once that is done I'll finally be free to start messing with the belly pan. I can already tell it's going to be a major PITA.
Other than that, things are going well. Small issue with the Motoholders fairing. The IMU is mounted and showing -2 degrees of lean with the bike upright. Not sure yet how to correct that yet...

Was it showing 0 degrees on that stand prior to swapping to the Motoholders?
I know on at least one of my Pitbulls its not zero.

I don't recall, but even off the stand between my legs I can tell it is off by about a degree and a half

It is apparently supplied by Akrapovic and used to "easily" mount oil retention pans that are otherwise a PITA to mount.
I've been told about this from the guys at MotoXpricambi (fairing producer). They said they can get one for me if I can't find it here or source from Akra themselves. Never see it before or hear it mentioned. Others?

First time for me.
From what I can gather, I think MotoXP is confused about Akra and Termi.

You can just barely see the bracket holding up the retention pan. The termi and akra cans mount differently so it seems to me that using this bracket means the akra cans will only be mounted by the primary hangers behind the rear sets + springs:
The bracket might solve one problem and create another but my assumption is that the cans will either be well enough supported without the forward mounts attached, or I'll have to make a small custom bracket that allows me to use both.
MotoXP is sending me the bracket so it'll be another couple weeks before I can get my hands dirty with it.
Full six make the same type of bracket for their belly pan.

I've decided against the kraiitech plug for now. It's not a big deal for me to drop the exhaust every other race round. Also spoke with a couple other Duc guys and we are all unsure whether or not WMRRA tech would allow a plug in the bottom of the oil pan.
Oil changes will be a good excuse to get some meditation time in the garage.

I use Melcodiag and the bluetooth odb reader on my 1199. Melcodiag says it supports the 1299. The software is free and the plug-in readers are $20.

Yes another for Melcodiag, if you do your own servicing it's a god send. Lights on dashes annoy me.
