Fellow members, i have a confession, I am a true minimalist and it’s in everything I do in life.
For the motorbike this means good quality small toolkit, puncture repair kit etc...
Where I have come for guidance is on re-inflating a Tyre after a repair on the side of the road.

I had a co2 nozzle and canister from my road bike but it looks like the nozzle is a presta nozzle. Also after reading several reviews it appears I would need several canisters to inflate a tyre.

So may I ask what you ladies and gents use... I am even willing to take the small bicycle pump if needed as an emergency :)

Toro and out.

Thanks, the repair is not the issue... it’s re inflating the tyre. Any suggestions?

Start calling friends that own a pick up truck. If no one picks up i call Newport Ducati and see where their van is. They picked me up before and took me home no charge. AAA will send flat bed if you have the 100 mile tow package. Last resort $100 motorcycle ambulance (714) 713-2279 Tiffany. She might throw in a lap dance for another 20 : )

Ok... so this Tiffany option :)

"Topeak race rocket MT bike pump" is what I take along nowadays. Easily fits in any tank bag. From Amazon.

Best,
Dave

Thanks... good shout whoever with a Covid the flight across to London becomes problematic
:)
I am a European member to the RAC however fixing a flat takes me 10 mins vs waiting for recovery which could be 2 hours.

thanks though

I've got a mini *high-pressure* bike pump I take on my road bike. Underlining, emboldening, and staring "high-pressure," because that's the very important bit. It'll go to 11bar.
I think you can switch out the presto for schrader nozzle. This will fit into a pocket and will get a tire rock hard, though, you'll need to work it for a while. Minimal space=more work pumping. But it won't run out of air. This rocks. Blackburn is a US company but I bought it at an extremely obscure bike shop in Italy.
The trouble with CO2 is, 1) as you said, you'll need a pile of them fill a moto tire 2) they won't get you to a good inflation pressure. 3) they freeze when you try use the entire contents. + a pile of them is much heaver / bigger than this mini pump.

Ya. that. :p Hahaha That could be good. Wait, can we get a photo or something? I mean, do we want a lap dance from "Tiffany?"
I have great faith in would be Newport options, don't get me wrong. That said, a tow truck driver named "Tiffany," can go in many directions.

Thanks for the guidance. Assuming you have never needed to use it.

There’s a bunch of mini air compressors that make this a non issue for you. Get one.

Challenge is finding one small enough for a Pani V2 when you get a flat.
What I have learnt so far is that you need at least 3 CO2 canisters and pray not to have another flat or a mini high pressure bike pump or call Tiffany :)

Never met her. I was in the hospital and on a lot of dilaudid and my friend was there. He is also my lawyer and he is the one that called Tiffany. The dealership had just told him they charge $100 per day for storage! (from the day the estimate is done - til day you pick it up) ($3k/mo) (thx Ducati). No idea how I remember any of that or how her number ended up in my phone : )

That lil red pump is bad ...!

I have a Fumpa, rechargeable, small, 2 types available, I have even pumped up sn aircraft tyre with it.
What an amazing recommendation. Do you use the mini version? I have just emailed the company for more info. Loving the mini version!!!

something chemical?
baking soda?
or physical. hairspray? no, forget it.
