I purchased the touring seat. I felt it made a difference in heat over the stock seat. After riding for an hour in 80 degree weather the seat was only slightly warm. I have been investigating wrapping the exhaust headers. Has anyone done that yet?

Been thinking same thing and really think the regular canvas colored stuff looks ghetto to me. I saw there was one forum showing someone who did it in the black/carbon look wrap which is more appealing. Wish I could find that photo vs reg stuff!

I doubt the exhaust wrap will make much of an impact if at all. Take a look at the heat signature of the bike - its not just emanating from the U-pipe of the exhaust but from everywhere there. It just doesn't cool off without a good amount of air flowing over. . .

to wrap or not to wrap. THAT is.....
in my experience with my Panni wrap will only get you so far if you notice they get hotter up top as that gas tank gets emptier....so you might wanna top off more often..as for the comfort seat so far I like my old 1198 Sargent seat better..
