Competition Werkes Tail Light Intergrator

don't like the smoked or clear lens either, like the red lens myself but I guess in order for the amber blinker to show while the brake light is lit the only way is with either a clear or smoke lens

Their LEDs were horrible on my 848. Couldn't see jack in daylight. I bought CustomLED lights to replace the ones on my 848 and they were great. Only had a fitment issue as I was literally one of the first to receive one. I he makes one for the 1199.

Still doesn't look bright enough for daylight. If the signals were almost as bright as the brake lights, it should be fine.

Tbot already does this

My taillight is en route to Denver where our own forum Talbot (Tbot) integrates them into your own. Under Erico Motorsports. Liked what I read and saw in that thread.

I'll keep y'all posted on how it turns out, once I get it.

"Stw" is the guy to PM about Tbot's stuff.

I went with the DUCATI guy himself TBOT!! comp werkes just piggy back his orginal idea, even though those lights change to amber, still doesn't get any brighter than what Tbot did!!

I'm getting these in a clear lense. I find that the yellow signal shows a little better than tbot red signal when the brakes are applied. still not as bright as I would like but I will just have to do hand signal or install some led somewhere else

I went the same route. You won't be disappointed. They did an awesome job

Its a great look on the bike and its not that hard to install

I guess TBOT didn't patent his, if he even could. What's the price diff?

Hey other Trauma - I am thinking because of DOT - amber and red both need to show. But I agree, I like the red. If I did either, I would keep my euro OEM turns as visibilty is everything.

Undoubtedly our product isn't perfect..Room is so limited within this light that this mod was the best we could design given those strictures... But everyone that has one.. and there are many now.. love it and deal with its imperfections... :)

I did read an internet post where CW compared the light output of theirs to yours using a camera style light meter. It appeared theirs was actually brighter, but they had a desktop fan blowing on it in order to get those results.

Tbot's solution should have the brighter light blink, then it would be perfect.

You have no idea how much I have fought mentioning the other thread along with this...sooooo hard not too... and there you go and allude to it... maybe I am the only one who will spot it..;)

No idea how much CW 's light is..Fyi.. Ours to buy outright is $400... if you send your light to be modified its $240... I am pretty sure CW doesn't offer this option...but they might?? Either way its great to have someone else on board making this part... Now everybody has a choice..:)

Frosty... we have tried... without destroying the light and then rebuilding it..which would cost exponentially more ...it has proved impossible.. Like I said earlier it is not perfect..pretty damn good though.. and it appears CW may have hit the same issue?? Both are now available and 1199 owners will decide which fits their budget/needs/likes best... Gotta love Capitalism...

Sorry I missed that part that it had been tried already. Now for the next question...what about a brighter LED replacement?
