How do we go about getting this below advertised deal via ShiftTech. Do we phone in the order or is there a way to do it online?

Think I will try my luck with the clear one.

I think every one is forgetting ONE MAJOR important thing here. YEAH sure Comp Werkes has same light as tbot and its brighter.... yeah yeah blow goats!! HAS ANYONE, ANYONE seen Comp Werkes fender eliminator kit?? CRICKETS, you think their light is better, have you seen the kit?? TBOT uses OEM DUCATI TAIL LIGHT, not some easy china slaved made piece of crap, that probably won't function after a short time. ANY one think of that?? or just the easy cheap chinese fix for less money??

We do indeed take pride in the fact that we use the Oem light and modify it... I have not seen the CW so I have no idea what they use... I would love to read some feedback from anyone that has bought one... Is their anyone??

Have you seen their fendor kit? If i knew it was so cheap, i would have saved the $$ for something else and asked my company's machine shop to help me out. THEY all like MY ducati 1199, not sure why! :)

I couldn't agree more. The metal work on the CW FE is so shotty IMO. Unfortunately it's the only one out there that puts the plate where I want it (other than Bucci's but that won't let me use the rear pegs).

Unless I see or hear otherwise I'd be worried their integrated light would be shotty as well. One can only go off of past experiences with a company of course...

The first intergrated tail light from compwerks was on my 2007 R1 and it's still working today, I do agree there fender eliminator was a cheap peice of aluminum that the rivets would pop off because of the vibration of the bike. I had to replace mine on my 1198 because of the poped rivet and compwerks had no problem replacing it, all they wanted was a picture of where it was broken and I received it about a week later.

I have one on the way via Shift-Tech. But then again I have a really dark wind screen as well, so I guess I fit Trauma's stereo type  . Also, STW be careful, you're starting to sound an awful lot like a vendor. ;)

Lol.... Enjoy it though.... I would be intrigued to get some feedback on how you feel about the ease of installation/Brightness etc..

I'm getting the one from Tbot. Is uses the factory light. I have had comp werks lights on other bikes and their quality sucks IMO. Only thing I would ever buy from comp werks is their fender eliminator, which is really just a piece of sheet metal, so how hard can it be to screw that up?

Anyway looking forward to my tail light....nice work guys.

i never knew italians made LED's -- i will bet you that in this case made in italy = assembled in Italy with ALL CHINESE PARTS!

That we will never know...Could be though.... Chinese parts and Italian QC..

In a week or two, I might have an alternative to CW's sheet metal (with all due respect, since, as far as I know, they were the first to give us a decent alternative). Same guy that's installing my Rearview camera, is making a custom Fender eliminator, minus the license plate holder--Fiberglass and painted.

We'll see how it turns out--so far he's given crazy attention to detail.

I look forward to seeing it. I'll wait until you have it before I throw out the questions. :D

i would have made a mock up then have my company's machine shop to make one up using oem bolt holes etc OUT of Stainless steel and probably a little more on the thickness as well.
