Considering a MTS V4

But is it more a highway or clean road bike or can I use it on small mountain roads like the gs? I really see a difference compared to the panigale with an advantage to the gs when i drive on cold wet roads for example

I never had other MTSes, Pikes Peak is my first. Visually clearance is the same. I guess you need to add rad guards and belly protection and deffo change standard tires to something more offroad

Yes for the tires i would definitely try to switch to more durable and rugged tires. I m driving the gsa on wet roads, as long as it is not too cold to be slippery or if the roads havent been salted. The only thing with all these guards and protections imo it will kill the sleek design of the mts pp, then maybe better to stick on a v4 rally, but then i shouldnt sell the panigale!

In the last 2 years I have owned...
2022 Panigale V4 base (full exhaust and Mag wheels)
2016 Multi 1200 Pikes Peak (Stock)
2023 Multi V4 Pikes Peak (Akrapovic Exhaust, Mag rear wheel (haven't found a front yet))

Hands down if you want a bike to do it all with comfort and nice electronic updates the V4 Pikes Peak is the best bike I've owned. The 2016 Pikes Peak is very good bike but a little unrefined after you have had a more modern bike. I did get a chance to demo a 1260 and thought it was quite a bit better than the 2016 1200. The power has better and more consistent and the quickshifter is a huge plus for me. I do not ride on anything that isn't paved so I could not tell you how the Multi's do off road.
