Hi all
A bit of an update.
I got the lower radiator out:
And then repaired (fingers crossed):
Installed new radiator covers:
And installed back into the radiator assembly:
So as you can see in the last pic - the heat shield (highlighted in red) is gone, only leaving the backing (looks like a fabric weave).
I've purchased some aluminium foil which doesn't stick to this material at all.
I called one of the main Ducati dealer and he said this cant be purchased as a spare part. (it doesn't seem to have a part number either).
Any ideas on how to either 1) stick foil to this material - or 2) a replacement pad/material that you have used would be most helpful.
