I swapped out my stock QS with a Durashift from Translogic on 1299s about 2 years ago. Easy install, almost plug & play setup, and much smoother than stock. May want to check them out as an option.
I've been running a Cordona and really liked it, but had some recent issues and am waiting to hear back from Cordona so I was considering another brand in the meantime.
I am really impressed with Cordona's customer service. My cordona qs had recently quite working intermittently and then work great again, until I went to COTA where I finally discovered the wire soldered to the strain gauge had detached. I emailed them on Wednesday and a replacement from Sweden was delivered Saturday. Not sure what stressed the wire but I'm reinforcing the wire with zip ties near where it going into the sensor this time.
