crashed through intersection ... broken tibulla fibula

Seeing the subject "crashed through intersection" and noting your location brings a chill down my spine. I still sometimes think back to what happened to me several years back when on my MV while playing in traffic. (you can read about it here). While I keep my bike in Manhattan, and therefore have to ride it here at least to get in/out, I will never tread anywhere near midtown/crosstown ever again. I stick to the edges and only cross (if need be) way up or downtown where it is less trafficked.

I'd love to hear the details of what happened, once you are mentally/physically strong enough to lay it all out.

Stay strong, man. There will always be another bike, but there's only one of you. You fall off the horse, you get well, you get back on the horse.

Seeing as how you are a local (UWS IIRC), let me know if you want me to bring you anything (motorcycle shaped cookies? haha) once you are back home.

Thanks jello vast lawyer just left my bedside and your much appreciated brother..... freak accident I never thought I can break a leg I'm 20mph... will explain

Sorry to hear about you and your bike. I hope you heal quickly. Hopefully insurance will do what it's supposed to do. Good luck, let us forum members know if you need help. I'm sure there are a lot of us that could do something if you need it...
