So I'm currently researching the world of crypto. I have a few ideas but I'm still learning.

I was just wondering if anyone has experiences and knowhow with this.

I am making my own way, my conclusion so far is that you have to go in big to make a decent amount from it.

All advice welcome

I traded 1000 bitcoins for a pizza a few years ago

there was a news story about a guy who paid 2000 bitcoins for two pizza in 2010 the equivalent of 20-40 mil at its more recent higher value . LOL

if thats you you ate a million dollar slice :D

I own several coins - BTC, BTG, XEM, ETH
consider it the same as owning stock
if you pay $0 for electricity you could make a small mint if you buy an S9 miner from antminer

LOL bitcoin is a pyramid scheme

Its not backed by anything, it started off at 5c flogged it to the black market because its untraceable, then people saw how much it was going up from the black market $$$ and love get rich quick schemes so they jump aboard, hit its high peak, co-founder sells all his bitcoins.

When the top cash out thats when alarms bells should ring out.

Now From bitcoin "cannot remain fully anonymous" FBI and IRS have been tracking bitcoin im sure all governments have similar tools.

Everyone was jumping on the crypto bandwagon when it had massive jumps only worth half of what it was now.

If the banks weren’t greedy they could offer the plus side of crypto which is near instant payment and low fees, numbers on a PC after all.

Now quit all your reality checking and so.

It was a great pizza though

@Halo2
I'm in the same camp. Bitcoins (and other cryptos) are pyramid schemes.
As a replicable competitor to Fiat Currencies, they will be shut down by governments ( in some form or another) if ever they gain commercial traction.
As a first step, they've created crypto futures contracts to slam the price down through sanctioned naked shorting when it gets too much momentum attention.
Central bankers don't like competition to their own currency scam.
