Great review. I think the Speciale will age better than this R tho. I look at how the 1199 tricolore looks now and it still looks fresh compared to my old 1199.
 
A bit odd that they de tune it from 221hp to 209hp for the US. Hope they don't do that everywhere!

I'll find out on Feb 13th, The 17 city tour comes to my town, I'll ask the Ducati Rep about the horsepower mod being lower in the US. Hopefully he can give me a sure answer.
 
Ducati claims 379 lbs 172kg dry

I'm guessing that is not accurate but closer than the Cw number.

I've learned not to trust Ducati's numbers

I remember when the 1098 came out they said it was faster in a straight line than that years zx10r..

LOL!!!! You want the HP back WE stole for EPA reasons!!!! Pay About 6-8 thousand for exhaust and flash!!!! Pathetic, but I’m doing it because my bikes are RACE only!!!! CMP In April with CCS!!!! Can’t wait!!!
