Naw, Aaron clearly won. Promised parts he never shipped and mostly received pats on the back. No one had really a problem with the fact that he didn’t ship em. @double0 at least said nfw when he posted my info in a thread. Aaron is full of .... and clueless when it comes to anything mechanical. Buy what you will where ever you want - it’s your money

To be honest with you, Don, it was your inconsistent story and constant personal attacks that actually convinced me to give Cycler a try.

I’m sure you’re an ok guy who just feels like things didn’t go his way. Having heard both sides of this thing, however, you just come across like a high-needs and unreasonable customer.

I hope your issues get sorted out with Cycler.

Hey Don, the problem here is that no one is backing down and no one really knows. You are saying you got a bad deal, cycler is saying that's not the case. Pages and pages later there is not and cannot be resolution in the court of public opinion. Cycler does have a pretty good rep here given that no one has jumped in and called him an ........ Appreciate you have a problem with him, but please take this private and deal with it elsewhere. Flinging feces between cages ends up with everyone getting covered with .....

Lets assume you are right ( and I dont take sides btw) no one here is going to do anything for you. Lets assume that cycler is right, no one is going to do anything for you either. Its a loser all the way to the bitter end. Some guy among many has said cycler has been awesome, maybe he bent you over because he liked you? We dont know and no one gives a ....

Now post some updates on your build!
If you guys only knew what Don asked me over the phone. And when I said know he asked how do I know I wouldnt like it. Prison life if different that life on the outside he said LOL

to put it in a simple way:

if i had to spend my money between the two of them, the decision would be based on a simple perspective:

- one is a long term forum member with a single so called "incident"

- the other is a relatively new forum member, stirring .... all the time and spilling non related content into every thread, coincidently, also the one person that ever had a negative feedback on the above mentioned one.

nothing personal, just an observation. everybody is steering their own fate.

Personally, I think you both look bad. Don doesn’t seem to care about how he’s perceived but Cycler should care. I know that Don has baited you Cycler (dogging you on every post and every thread) but you definitely took the bait. You wear two hats on this board (business and member). Fair or not, I hold businesses to a higher standard than members. With this premise in mind, I find it distasteful that a business is personally attacking a customer. In the end, you both look horrible. The worst part is that people are telling you this fact and yet you continue to act like knuckleheads. Grab a mirror, do some serious self reflection, and then return to the forum. Until then, I’m going to avoid Don (he lives near me) and I’ll send my business elsewhere.
I blocked him after reading everything guys wrote. You are right I took the bait. In my mind I felt like since this dude was attacking me in every post that I made or posts others started to which I replied I would look like a scammer. I felt that I had to defend myself because others who were new or were on the fence deciding whether to purchase from me would look at one disgruntled customer who never got screwed by me would say why take a chance. Case in point the forum member who originally started this thread. He was looking to purchase something so I approached him. I told him who I was and that Ive been selling to forum members for a long time. Then told him to look up my name and see that Im not a scammer and to see what others have written about me. Or he can start a thread about me. I write that to any potential customer I approach who is looking to buy something. Although while others just look up my name he was actually the first to start to thread asking about me. Once Don started his posts about me on this thread the guy who started this thread stopped responding to my PM's and Im assuming didnt want to take a chance. Seeing this I assumed others would follow. At first I wanted to block Don but then thought what happens if others mention my name in other threads. I could never see what he writes and cant defend myself.

A few guys who bought from me who approached me after seeing this thread and reading what Don wrote said they were a bit skeptical about buying from me even though this whole Don thing was a joke but bought anyway and were happy they bought from me. One or maybe two guys even wrote on this thread that they were skeptical but took a chance. In the last 2 weeks I had forum members approach me to buy things and some even paid me through paypal as friends and family. @A016738 was one of the new customers who ordered a set of Gilles Tooling rearsets from me and paid as friends and family. Im not sure if it was from reading this thread or from recommendations. I have another customer who approached me from this thread on April 21st and ordered a pair of IMA Special Parts adjustable clipons. However he contacted me Sat telling me he still didnt receive them and they were shipped out on April 23rd. They were stuck at Charles De Gaul airport in France. Then he contacted me Tuesday saying they werent moving and stuck in customs. I called Fedex Wed (so did he apparently) to see what the hold was now that they were in Memphis in customs. Customs didnt know what "Motorcycle Clips" were. So I explained. They should have delivered them Thursday but they didnt . I explained to my customer it was beyond my control but he was upset that I should have been more on top of it. I will honest. Since I didnt hear from him until last Sat I assumed he received his clipons. So yesterday I emailed Patrick at IMA and explained the issue. Even though this never happened before I told Patrick from now on to write motorcycle clipon handlebars in the description. After sending Patrick that email Thursday evening I contacted my customer to apologize for not being more on top of this and attempt to fix this mess. We spoke on the phone twice and he told me if he isnt happy with a vendor because they screwed him or lied to him he would go somewhere else and even pay more in order to have good customer service. There was just so much I could say to this guy to keep him as a future customer. This was his first purchase and instead of getting his IMA parts within 3-4 days like everyone else has in the past its taking almost two weeks. As of Friday the package was still in Memphis. Im going to call Fedex in the morning to see what is going on. Anyway to try and fix the situation so will continue to purchase from me I told him in order to make up for this mess, on his next purchase I will sell him between 1-4 items at dealer cost and I would pay for shipping. He would either pay me dealer cost as friends and family or add 3% for the paypal fee. I sent him the copy of the email I sent IMA as well. But heard nothing from him on Thursday or Friday most of the day. Then at around 630 he texted me asking about a product that retailed for $1059.00. Unfortunately I only get 20% off on that brand which brought the price down to $847.00. Thats still a savings of $212.00. So he ordered it from me and I could tell from his texts he was happy. Since his IMA stuff wasnt delivered Friday and Im not sure if it will be delivered Sat I offered him the same deal again even though I told him it would be only be on his next order which he already placed. As an example I offered him dealer cost on rearsets, Ilmberger parts, Supreme Technologies Oversuspension. He already has rearsets but is interested in the oversuspension and Ilmberger parts. So will give him 3 other parts at dealer cost. I am not greedy and would rather keep guys happy by making less money on each part saving forum members money. But then have them spend that money they saved on other parts. Its a win win situation. Forum members save money and can buy items that they would normally not buy as fast or buy not buy period because of what they see as a necessity first over wanting something because they just want it. And I keep a long term customer. There are plenty of guys who posted on this thread that can attest to me selling them parts at dealer cost because they are loyal customers and also because they purchased a good amount of products. And Im not saying that someone needs to purchase $5000 worth of parts to get other things at dealer cost. I even have new customers who spent $900 and then wanted parts that cost like $35-$75. If it was just one or two of those pieces I sold them at cost because I didnt want to nickel and dime just to make $12. Now if was like 5 items and higher in that price range yes Id make a couple of buck. There are guys on this thread who I sold certain expensive brake rotors at dealer cost, guys who I sold certain expensive brake master cylinders at dealer cost, guys who I sold certain expensive brake pads at dealer cost and many other things. They know who they are. I have one customer who had a Kawasaki ZX10R that bought a Sutter wet slipper clutch and the Oversuspension from me back in May 2020. He never installed those parts. And just picked up a 2021 Honda CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade SP. I contacted Bellissimoto and convinced for him to be able and exchange the Kawasaki oversuspension for a Honda one. Although they charged a 20% restocking fee on the Sutter wet slipper clutch. Hey at least he got something back for the Sutter. I will do what I can to make things right for a customer.

Anyway I went off track on this post. The large glass of whiskey ( actually 2nd one) is giving me writing inspiration which is why I am writing this huge thesis. After reading this entire thread over and over and over again Wed in the early am. And making my final comment to Don at 2:51 am. I saw how many guys stood up for me. As well as reading the posts from guys who said dude stop responding to him. And I went through the texts many of you sent me to my phone saying we made to sure to stand up for you...dont stoop down to his level. You wont loose customers. There are way too many forum members who will have your back. After re-reading everything forum members wrote on this thread, re-reading the PMs that were sent , re-reading the text that were sent. And seeing the new orders I received from forum members who approached me. I just blocked Don and thought to myself Im done. If someone mentions me or tags with the experience they had with me. I will reply and not care if Don try's to trash me. The positive post or thread has already been started with other forum members who will chime in. And if Don jumps on board to make his negative comments they will quickly be squashed. Not seeing his posts since Wed has been a breath of fresh air. Ive read many posts on this thread about how I should just quit responding. Which I did after blocking him Wed. There one even one guy who wrote no matter what prices i gave him he wouldnt buy from me because of me posting Dons info because he gave out my last name. And since there are only 300 people in the US with my last name. Finding out my info would be easy since most know my first name and know I live in NY on Long Island. To be totally honest after Wed I was only going to respond to some forum members posts here because they were customers. And even then I would most likely stay off this thread and just watch it since guys will still post.

But then I read what @youpaiyou wrote. He is a forum member who purchased from me in the past. His post was long winded. He didnt hold back. Said it like it is. And was the only guy that was brutally honest. Others said hey dont stoop down to Dons level. Leave it alone, people know you have a good reputation. But youpaiyou took it to a different more brutal level. After reading his post I felt the same way I did while sparring against this 42 year old woman in Krav Maga on Monday (Im level 2 she is level 4). She put me down 10 times to me putting her down twice. As I was on all 4;s and she straddle me I was so angry I just turned my head to the right and swung my elbow to her jaw as hard as could. She in turn punched the back of my head so hard that i went flat onto the mat with my face hitting the mat so hard my nose exploded with blood everywhere. She sat on my back....put her right hand under my chin and raised it and whispered in my my ear who is my bitch and let go. lolol. Thats the same embarrassing feeling I got after reading what youpaiyou wrote. I usually level headed as many know who have spoken to me on the phone. I dont get angry when some of you kept contacting me asking where your products were even though I told you the time frame and you guys contacted me a few weeks early. I didnt get angry when guys werent happy with products and I had to exchange them (even though I was gitty inside when I told them I told you that you wouldnt like it and you should have listened to me LOL) Youpaiyou hit me square between the eyes with his comment. I will admit that I was wrong for going this far with Don. What I should have done was defend myself one or two times and then ignore him as well as block him. Then allow forum members to write their own experiences with me. By me going tit for tat with Don brought me down to his level and probably cost me more potential new customers than the amount of new ones I got these past two weeks. Yes this is long winded and most will probably not read it to the end. But if @youpaiyou didnt write what he wrote I wound not have written this.

Team Cycler here….gave me a very good price on some Gilles rearsets. Communication was fast, as was order placement and shipping.

My first DM to him was a week ago today and they were in my hands this afternoon and on the bike an hour later. No expedited shipping…regular UPS.

Especially in this age of the CV19, that’s damned good.
