Hoping to get the custom suit from Italy, anyone know the price on those???

Custom fit D-Air suit is approx. $4k for moo and $5k for roo. It varies a little depending on if you want custom colors and patches. My custom fit/color/patches Roo suit was almost $5k. You only live once and hell...I'm worth it!

It's also vaporwear in the states. I have a Race Replica and have been trying for years to get it. Every time they tell me "next year". Supposedly it was over a legal battle with Dainese (which I understand was recently settled), so hopefully it happens this year.

ETA: After examining a D-Air, if it fits you, I would get one of those instead anyway. Just a better suit than my Race Replica, even ignoring the airbag system IMHO.

I agree totally with this statement. I have been an ASTARS fan for years and still have three of their suits. I tried on a Dianese suit recently and was shocked at the difference.

The Dianese is a much better suit in almost every way. Comfort is not even comparable. Protection is better and stays in place better while riding. The leather(moo) seems to be better quality that the ASTARS race suit. Overall it just has a better fit a finish.

I think the biggest intangible is the Dianese will not fit everyone. They seem to be cut very slim and fit snug.

Where you ordered from?

I purchased mine from STG. They were the only one that had the colorway I wanted in my size.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any good deals here in the USA, so had to pay sticker price. However I did get some store credit for future purchases.

very true. It seems the prices are still as when they came out in the USA.

i have a trickster kangaroo and the Hit-Air vest....

for a fraction of the cost.

the vest saved my life already once, will get the newer model in spring...

I purchased many items from you guys. Do you guys charge Sales tax on high price leathers like this? That will be quite a bit.

i.e. Revzilla pays sales tax.

If you register as a VIP, you will get significant discounts on the items instead -since sales tax only applies to California residents

Anyone know if the make the d-air suit in short sizes ? Not made to measure but off the rack size 25.

I crash tested my new D Air suit first time out racing at Donnington last weekend.
You can see me going into orbit at 2'55'' here about four bikes in front of the camera :)

After my mate had a very bad accident the month before and I had a big highside at Jerez only two weeks before I wouldn't be without it now!

After crashing in it I bought another one to make sure that I had one for the next race but supposedly there's a 10 day turn around in the UK at the moment.

I've bought a contract that is £200 a year and covers as many recharges as I need, I just pay extra for any suit damage at the same time so it's a no brainer if you are racing or doing a lot of trackdays. There's talk of Dianese stopping doing this contract going forward and no news of what if any it will be replaced with.

The suits have full data logging which is pretty cool to see what is happening during the accident and also just for normal data analysis of your riding. The red green and blue lines are the X, Y and Z accelerometers which go mental during the high side and the white line is the calculated risk of accident which sets off the air bag. I remember flying through the air and thinking 'bollocks, not again, this is going to hurt'. I didn't even feel the airbag deploy but when I hit the track it was a lot softer than previously in Jerez and I walked away with just a sore elbow and a smashed up bike! We managed to get it fixed for the afternoon race which was effectively a shakedown and I came in second to last. The next days grid positions were based on this so I started from the back both races but managed to get 23 of 38 which was pretty cool as the Thundersport series is the unofficial feeder into British Superbikes so everyone is super fast.

Glad to hear the suit performed well and you walked away and were able to finish the day.

Did you or do you know if you can use the suit after it deploys to finish your day or weekend? Having a second suit would be nice but that's a lot of $$$.

That white risk factor line went crazy! Thanks for sharing the info and great vids!
