Dash issue

So found and interesting feature on my dash this afternoon, but definitely not appreciating it. Looks like something has crazed or cracked on the inner surface. I've seen posts about the dash cracking, but I'm not sure if this is the same issue.
I wouldn't mind pulling apart one to see if it can be fixed/replaced, or if the electrical components can be transplanted. Anyone know of a fix it have a dead dash lying around?

The dash on my 1098 did that from UV over exposure , hot sun down here .

I'd really like to find a cheap dash that I can see if I can pull apart, then repair/replace the cracked part......

I've located a dash with part number 40610933E. Mine is 40610931C. The new one appears to be suitable for a 2014-2015 base model, but the last two digits are different for the 2013 base model. Does anyone know (100%) I'd all the base models are compatible or what the last 2 digits mean?

I’ve just bought a new replacement wayyyyyyyy below RRP. Before installing I’m going to make a cover to stop this happening again if it has to be parked in the sun
