Daytona Bike Week anyone?

Are many just trailing their bikes to Ocala, staying then riding into Daytona for the day? I was told Ducati should have a set up in Daytona as well. Just wondering what the best way to do this is. Im coming down from Jax and i got a few others i was to meet in daytona... not sure if i should just trailor down the bike in ocala, ride to and from daytona form there.. anyone staying overnight in daytona? and where can i get daytona 200 tickets....
 
In the past we use to stay in Daytona at a hotel and ride from there but you don't really find a half way decent hotel for less then $ 250.00 per night and some have a 3 night minimum.

This year we just stay in Ocala and ride to Daytona, while there we hang out at Melillimoto Friday night, it takes like 1 hour each way and at least it's a good ride.
Once you hit Daytona it's stop an go and traffic with no end, not really fun to ride there at all.
The Ducati dealer in Daytona has a gathering also all weekend and we plan on riding there on Saturday and hang out in Daytona and then back to Ocala Sat pm, bikes back in the truck and heading south to Miami again.

when will most head back to Ocala? and are you going to daytona 200? I need tickets!!
 
Not so sure what time and who:), I might watch the 200 on TV at the Ducati dealer by the beach and record it at home.

It's cool at the Speedway but you don't really see much of the race. Tickets are no issue, you buy them when you ride into the Speedway. You don't even need to get off the bike, they walk right at you.
 
I plan on going to bike week next weekend, please keep me posted. I think there are a few people that will be going there next weekend.
 
Sounds good, im going to head down saturday, we could meet up then, bring Starbucks coffee cup please.

Anybody planning to ride over from the Daytona area to Ocala Friday night?
 
A bunch of us from South Florida will be at Ocala on Friday afternoon for the Melillimoto party, ridding Sat morning over to Daytona to spend the rest over there.
 
so where are the nice sunny warm girl photos?? what are you guys waiting for? or do they only show up at the end of the week??

I had a blast this last weekend, actually found another Panigale rider from Jersey, hopefully he will be joining this forum soon as well. I plan on heading down this weekend as well, still deciding if i drive to Ocala all the way from Jacksonville to ride to Daytona, to ride back to Ocala and have to ride back to jax......

One thing that amazes me is how much attention i actually got on my panigale. Harley guys and sport bikers combined commented on my Ducati. I was very honored to show off the bike for our group!

Some of you guys less than 8 hours away should consider making the trip for thr weekend, its well worth it! Its a blast!!
