Tomorrow I'm going up to my dealer have the latest map uploaded on the Pani.

I'm really tempted to sell my current track toy (ex:Graves Yamaha R1) for a base for the track.

My current track toy has all the goodies. I'm curious to hear from those running there Pani's on the track.

What have been the pro's and con's compared to your past track toys?

The R1 is a great bike.

Other than possibly adding an 1199 base or 1199 R have you considered looking at the 848 EVO Course SE ? I believe this is a popular track bike and may supplement your 1199 S.

Yes, I road an 848 at a recent track day. It was a blast, and handled great.

My dealer is trying to sell his stock of leftover 12's. I can get into a base for a reasonable price.

The R1 has every aftermarket, and custom piece imaginable. It's Hacking's ex factory bike. The bike is an 05', so it has some years on it.

ding ding ding!!!! right answer.

The pani is a blast on the track. First couple times I set it in the low hp mode to get used to it, on full mode it's a hoot!! Still a mediocre track rider but DAMN I look good while I'm doing it! :D

Why not just track your current 1199, and if you bin it replace it.

I prefer having a street bike, and something dedicated to the track.

Both are typically setup a fair amount different from each other.

I've been trying to get out to the track a few times each month while the weather is nice. I can't image switching back and forth from street to track setup every weekend.
