ah! Good point, but then everyone would've just skipped my post instead of reading it! :)

I believe you're supposed to start those posts with .....

"Now when I was a lad...."

:p

I can't remember how much it was exactly. Approximately $200.
The seller has offered me a full refund. The customer service is fine. They seem to think that this is a quality product and I simply wanted a second opinion.

I will check out the other shops and see what I can find. The main reason I don't want DP parts is because I prefer the gloss carbon fibre over their duller finish.

Tai,

Was it RC matte that you bought from?

Photo of the air duct covers. Top is the DP and the other is form Hong Kong.

I was steered in the right direction from this forum. I went with gloss CDT parts. Paid more but am very happy with the quality & fit.

Exactly. I have lower side fairings, front mudguard, rear mudguard, under tail, tail vent inserts, rear seat cover, under tank covers, heel guards, electronics holders, air duct covers, key cover, instrument cover, rear shock guard, battery cover, abs cover, countershaft cover, brake tube protector, rear brake reservoir holder, brake and clutch reservoir holders, nose fairing and a 1 piece swing arm guard. Personally I cannot believe that Carbonvani require you to dremel most parts. For the price you pay they should fackin fit right.

Im sure its been said in here already, biggest sign of poor carbon and makes for big job to create a good paint job or clear coat over crap like this!

Of course you know who to contact in case things need fixing or painting right? :) lol

Ducati Performance carbon heat shields installed. Good quality but expensive.
