I think he’s holding back a bit and let the others crash their bikes and then he scoops up points. But yes to win the title he’s got to get going pretty soon.
He's in the lead. He's competitive enough. The leader doesn't need to be competitive or even the best on the grid. The rest of the field below just has to suck more.
The next 3 tracks(4 races) have pretty long straights that Dovi has a good history at. 3 of the races he finished 2nd at last year.
Hopefully he performs at those races to get himself a good cushion going into Valencia and Portugal
The Ducati has the grunt for sure. The Suzuki is very nimble. The KTMs seem to have tire issues later in the race. The Aprilias plain suck. Yamaha seems to have tire issues late in the race.
i just read on an italian site that the 2020 is challenging him in terms of strengths he had turning into weaknesses. with the Michelins having less front grip, that advantage is gone.
excited to see what he will be able to pull off in the next couple of races.
