Dude, there is no deductible for you. He hit your bike. He got a ticket. His Insurance pays. Even if it was a hit and run you would not have a deductible.
True but.....you have to wait for his insurance to repay you the deductible. My wife was rear ended in her mustang. We paid the $500 deductible that you too will have to pay unless he has a more reputable insurance company that pays quickly. In our case, he had some off brand insurance and it took 4 months to get the money back.
