It has been awhile since I've done any mods and feel pretty sketchy about screwing something up. Any words of wisdom regarding the installation of the levers? I'm putting some pazzos on today and not feeling very confident about it.
Thanks
Sure, a couple of points:
- Throw a rag over the bodywork beneath the bars, to save from any tool slips
- Loosen of the retaining nuts with a spanner, while holding the bolt firm with an allen key. The retaining bracket lower end is also threaded, you'll see what I mean.
- Have some grease handy for the new levers and actuators
- Be sure to push the actuators right into the rubber boot covers
- Don't over tighten the nut and bolt. Ducati said 5-7Nm for both, so if you're not sure how tight that is, pay attention as you remove.
Thats about it!
