DP rear sets installed!

Will have a look at swapping mine as I noticed the nut at the end of the shift rod has dug into the swing arm to bare metal.

I've found that ithe screw that goes through the linkage to the shift rod is a bit to long. This is what digs into the swing arm. I shorten this screw flush to the nut and it doesn't touch.

Turns out the length measurement in the instructions were reversed between the standard high and low peg positions. Whoever wrote those instructions really screwed up.

Can you clarify.... mine is low setting/standard.

Ive pulled mine apart it needs grease were it pivots on the footpeg shaft and shift linkage on rearset, mine had rust spots....

The small rod (C1) doesn't get installed on the shift rearset as per the manual its not required.
Cant install if you tried.

I'm going by memory here as that specific bike has gone to its new owner.
Standard shift low peg position was the longer of the two DP rods set at the longer measurement.
If I remember right the manual gave the shorter measurement.

Pulled it apart, the manual says install part C1.

Well part C1 is already installed.

The manuals that come with the parts are written poorly.

im so lost lol. i am trying to set up for standard shifting low peg position. you use the shorter shift rod??
