Wow... Yeah your bikes are running very hot... I am not exactly in a cooler location and mine rarely goes higher than 217 or so... Fan kicks in and temp drops... Are your fans running ok???

yea it runs often. I haven't seen that temp since Bikeweek in Daytona, but i expect with our hot summers in FLorida that i will maybe see those temps again...

Hmm, I live about 70 miles south of Jay in the central part of Florida, which is typically 5 or so degrees hotter than the coast. As I mentioned, I have not had the bike read over 219 in stop and go traffic. Not the same as creeping along Main Street during Bike Week though. With almost 1,000 miles now and the weather getting hotter, we'll see.

Does the Termi slip on get rid of the cat? I also have flushed the coolant out and replaced with Engine side and apparently the engine temps are running around 5 degrees Fahrenheit lower, and when the bike gets up to 219, it seems to cool down more quickly once underway.

another here who does not have a camera:(

might have to buy something in 1080 resolution I think

I was thinking that too. Every time I get ready to pull the trigger on one either a new one comes out or a new review comes out that makes me pause and then ultimately wait for some reason. I guess I'll just have to pick one or forever remain cameraless. :)

Nice deal. I have the Drift 1080 and often run it in 780 so I can get more out of the battery and chip and have no complaints. I love that I can mount it everywhere and not worry which way is up. It's so versatile. (with that said, the GoPro is great too, so back down GoPro lovers). I like them both and am not disappointed with the Drift for anyone on the fence of buying one.

As for mounting it see my other posts. I also have strapped it to the "stock" license plate tail and got some cool footage looking rear.
