Yeah, then its a million paid on some ........ annuity payment plan divided over thirty years, and thats if you're luck enough to be able to sue someone with pockets that deep.

Not necessarily anti gun, but more anti the crazy guys who go off like you have molested their closest loved ones if you have a critical thought about how gun laws are handled.

Guns are ok, they are even fine as recreational items and activities. But they are lethal weapons, designed to inflict injury and death, and should be treated and regulated as such. They belong at the ranges or in the fields in the hands of trained users. Not easily accessible in your closet where basically anyone can reach them "because they're cool". The same as race cars and race bikes belong on the track. Not up and down the main street because they are cool (race cars and bikes ARE actually cool, but that's a different discussion :D )
 
i'm all for 2A gun ownership - this is but ur constitutional right & only the bad guys will have the millions of guns floating around in the USA if these idiot bans were instituted.

but back on topic: this post is one of the many reasons i am not riding (on the street) -- too many idiots, half-wits, texters, drunks, pill-poppers & evil ..... like the old .... that swerved... the mortality rate per mile traveled is getting worse by the year as society slides further into the ..........

Someone should have dragged that old geezer over to the hurt girl to witness what he had done in person.

A joyful ride just turned tragic, why why why? I am not big on crossing the double yellow, but there's no need to intentionally trying to hurt people. This old geezer probably doesn't have children or wife or anybody he cares about, otherwise he would understand that pain when your loved ones get hurt.

I live in Glendale, Ca, (All-State top 10 most dangerous city for drivers for 15 consecutive years, and only city on list that's in a warm climate state). There are a lot of ...... up drivers around, people have to learn to let it go, end of the day, nobody wins, turned into a ...... up situation.

Wish rider passenger a speedy recovery.

In Vermont, passing on a double yellow is legal when it is safe. I love riding in Vermont. The scenery is breath-taking, and some of the roads epic. And no getting stuck behind people who could care less about anyone but themselves.

It's crazy how selfish people are out there. If I'm driving or riding at a leisurely pace, and someone behind me is moving at a good clip, I safely pull over to the side and wave them past. Then I continue on my way.
 
Yeah, when I see a fast approaching vehicle from behind, I more than likely will safely move over and let them pass. Except this one time, this ....... was tailgating me like a mad man, so I speed up to create some safety margin, he caught up again and flashed his sirens.
 
update: he has been arrested @ 530pm Texas time on 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon

also the girl is out of surgery last night and in stable condition.. she has a second surgery tomorrow to attempt to repair the arm.. they are unsure if they will be able to save it..

This story is all over the internet and some of the comments are just disgusting. So many people feel that because he crossed the double-yellow to pass he got what he deserved! Our society really is turning to ..... I wonder if they'd feel the same way if someone started firing bullets into their car after they switched lanes or turned without using a turn signal.
