Just wondering whether anyone has bought & installed the Ducabike Evo III levers for the 1199.
It is just that I am getting different information from 2 vendors. Motowheels say they are not compatible whereas Bellissmoto say they are.
Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

I have them mounted as well. I had to punch out the bushing from my OEMs using a socket, but look great, fold, and are adjustable.

I got em. Outstanding!!!!!! Thinking about their rearsets also

Had to put a bushing on the brake light switch to activate the brake light.

This is the reply I got from Motowheels:

"The levers for the 1198 and the 1199 are different pivots. Using the wrong levers on your OEM master cylinder can cause binding".

So my question is now if they are installed will the bushing stop the binding? I am assuming that a Ducati mechanic will be able to fit these & I not have any problems after. Don't want to have a problem after spending $350-$400 on a set of levers.

@mundman........yeah I'm looking at the rearsets also. Going to be an expensive order.

Given the amount of Evotech bits fitted to your bike, have you considered their levers? I was thinking about getting their shorty levers and would be interested to hear from anyone who has them (or the standard ones) already.

Yeah looked at the Evotech ones but did not like. To be honest I rushed with my Evotech order & now prefer Ducabike products. Getting ready to place an order once they come out with the new rearsets that fixed the problem on the originals as pointed out by Gunny Fitz.

Here's pics......

Hey guys,

Ill bump this thread. I am about to order the rearsets as well as these EVO III lever for my 1199 R

Since this thread is a few months old, any further advice? any issues as described by NorthBankGooner above?

I also do not want to have to worry about long term damage to cylinders or binding issues.

Thanks.

The levers were fitted with zero problems. I have around 3,000km on them now. With rearsets make sure that Locktite is used as a bolt came off when I was returning after they had been installed. Other than that both products are great.

these look great but i opted for the chinese ones for 89 bucks. looks just as good do the same exact thing, adjustable and folding. also says 1199 panigale on them instead of duca bike.

now tell me how much better these are than the chinese ones. you cant pull them in the same way? the aluminum is better? the finish. oh yea they arent.

I've got this thing about bolting cheap Chinese products to my high priced Italian Ducati. If you are happy then that is great but it is not my MO. To be honest I hate all cheap Chinese knock off parts, not just for motorcycles.

so cnc aluminum from china is different from duca bikes cnc aluminum. i like how you determine its cheap. is your aluminum better? i know the curve of the lever you have is better? is that it? oh wait the foldable part goes up higher? no thats not it. something? give me something how your levers are better looking or better working than the ones i have. what makes it better cause you paid more? this isnt a knock off it doesnt claim to be duca bike its adjustable levers. have you held or seen in person the adjustable levers? i have seen and tried them all and guess what they are all the exact same stuff.

I am convinced that whatever brand you buy they are all made in China...maybe all in one factory even...

+1 on that.

if you're in the automotive industry, you see that every day.

no matter if it's oxygen sensors, spark plugs, ....

some are still made in germany or italy though. but barely any in the U.S. and A.

Those levers are made in Italy, I just got them from the guy that makes them for Ducabike etc,
