Haven't been a big fan of some of the aftermarket body kits, but this one is sexy! Me likey! I don't really like the style of the carbon fiber wheels, but to each his own, he is making a race bike so understandable to have the lightest wheels. Not sure if he hit 186 mph though, looks like he had it in the standard race display. I believe it though. I haven't had a problem hitting top speed, has anyone else been able to on a stock bike? Or am I just a light ............?

Nice colours, suits the bike well. Bit OTT on the decals tho.

So far only upto 297 km on the clock. That's on a stock Tri, termis but no headers. Unfortunately not had the chance to push it further yet but seemed like it was willing to.

Pretty sure a stock can get to 300 km, depending on rider weight, wind speed, temp, incline etc. Personally have no doubt you can get it over 300 km also, with losing a few more kg through replacing with carbon, using race fuel etc.

...... or following a strict diet :D

Beautiful bike but I sure wish idiots would quit posting video's of their high speed runs on public roads/hwys. They are going to get superbikes banned or restricted. Take it to the track. Think about it.

+1 on that.
don't they know they are self incriminating their-selves by putting photos of their bikes (special custom ones) followed by a high-speed run.

They (cops) will find you look at the guy in Canada.

I do have one thing I'd like everyone to think about though. In Germany you can go as fast as your car can on the autobahn, and yet they still have a far better accident record than here in the U.S. Just food for thought. Not trying to argue with everyone, but just because we are the U.S and this is how we are raised to believe in, doesnt mean that it adds up to be right. Matter of fact, I was looking up motorcycle statistics in the Department of Transportation records just a few weeks ago and although I don't have the link anymore they said only 20% of all motorcycle accidents actually involve the rider hitting another vehicle, with most being non-fatal crashes. The other 80% is pure rider error, and mostly was caused by excessive speed and most of all intoxication while riding (even just 1-2 drinks). Intoxication will throw off your equilibrium, and when do we need it more in our lives than when walking or riding? I am completely opposed to vehicles doing as excessive a speed as we can potentially do out on the roads because they drive a vehicle that is 2000 to 4000 lbs heavier. Like I said, Im not here to argue with anyones opinion. And also if other countries can do 150+ mph average down the highway with far less accidents, than why can't we? Just because we are Americans does not mean that every law we come up with is the best way to do everything. Most of what we here is misinformation, and a good amount of riders can barely drive a car, then they go and buy a bike??? That's what kills our reputation, people don't know where their limits are and they continue to push the envelope to show off and brag to others. I don't want any arguments or name calling or anything of that matter. If you are going to reply to this, stay calm, and debate on your ideas. My point is, if other countries can speed excessively on a regular basis and have a better accident record than ours, why can't have the same laws?

I'm all for fast speeds and pace, but when appropriate and I think that is half the battle riders choosing the wrong place in time to ride hard. I ride hard and fast but I chose my spot. I don't go 100mph down a residential street.

Most American vehicle drivers are not well trained on driving etiquette (specially those that go 45mph in the fast lane) and i have to move to the slow lane to pass. I fault more drivers of vehicle than motorcycles cause we are reacting to situations that are not driving standard.

In Germany slow drivers get ticketed for driving in the wrong lane.

But since it isn't legal yet in the US, I'm just saying don't tell on yourself keep videos offline (share but do it privately) unless you have your lawyer ready to clear up any charges.

Answer is. We are fat lazy and stupid. God bless us all, We're number 1! Don't touch my gun. Less Taxes but don't cut my stuff, and last but not least, if you don't like it leave this Country.
Ok now that I got that off my chest. Driving laws in Germany and in a smaller way the Netherlands are different, HOWEVER these folks take their driving seriously. A kid in the Netherlands does not just jump behind a car and learn. They take driving lessons and take them seriously, they know how to use a stick shift and parking brake on a hill. In Florida too many kids were failing the parallel parking part of the test, so they removed that part. In Florida people just drive like idiots. In Europe most do not drive, while eating a Whopper and 32 oz coke while talking on the phone with sub woofers rattling the windows. They only need two lanes in Holland. Slow on right and left is passing. You pass and then you get back over period! In florida I can have 8 lanes on 95 and they are all doing the same speed. It is just crazy. Should we talk about prostitution and pot smoking laws in other countries as well? We can't handle the truth. We are our own worse enemies. Now excuse me while I go watch Jersey shore and check my domesday bunker for Cheetos. ;)

This is a great thread...all of you have made accurate remarks and it is unfortunate that we have "dumbed down" this nation to the lowest common denominator.

It can only get worse, I fear.

The craziest law in the US is not being able to buy alcohol until you are 21. No problem with sending an 18 year old in to battle but if he comes home after serving a tour of duty he can't crack open a cold beer. That's mental!
Not a Brit having a pop as I have worked outta Florida on ships for 20 years. I know this is off topic but it just annoys me.

You make some great points. Being a transplant from Europe I was very frustrated that I could only do 55 mph on the highway = American autobahn when I arrived.
I could not understand why you would have the most powerful cars, three lane highways that are straight for miles and no way near the traffic density as in Europe while being limited to a crawl speed.
Further research shed some light on the subject: Europe requires biannual safety inspections of vehicles, the license process requires rigorous classroom and on hand training, no passing on the right lane, slower drivers merge to accommodate the speedsters or will be ticketed...not to mention driver etiquette.
The only thing I miss being here is the autobahn :(

I've known how bad drivers are in the US for a long time--but it wasn't until I drove in Europe that I discovered even average humans are capable of controlling their vehicles in a fluid, safe and expeditious way AND are incredibly considerate while doing so, too. When US Driving tests are so easy to pass, what can you expect? Half the country, it seems, doesn't even know it's legal to make a right on a red after stopping. Agonizing, really.
