Ducati Dealer Vs. Harley Dealer

This is ridiculous! One of the largest cities in our country and no dealer. We need to start our own. Quick someone loan me a few million so I can start this up!

There are larger msa areas with no dealers around as well. Look at the Las Vegas msa - no ducati dealer there either (well the previous one closed a few years back). It takes a solid base as well as well as other factors to make it economically viable.

So I took the bike to my HD dealer today to check on the progress of my VRod which is having some wheel and tire work done.

I pulled right up under the service portico and to my surprise, my service advisor, the rental guy and my salesperson were out there oogling the Panigale.

The bad news is - it did the hard start thing as I was getting ready to leave - damn! ;-)

ultimately it is up to the brand who they choose for dealer and how they train them. A ducati is not yamaha or suzuki. i am a life long ducat owner and admirer of the brand, but the dealer experience is disappointing for a premium brand. I have purchased form 3 different dealers.

I never had any good experiences with any bike shop when I was in Florida.

Ocala was a dump. All the shops.

Sounds like they did a .... job prepping your bike too. Did they leave the charcoal can in there too? Seriously, call their ..... out. Otherwise somebody's complaining about .... service down the road.

It's their job to take care of us customers, not the other way around.

If it's a small shop just north of Orlando, then they need to tighten up.

Hope everything works out for you on this bike.
