LOLLL omg that almost seems a bit psycho and narcissistic
hahaha it's the motor trade they aren't mucking around.
As we say in Australia "they're playing for sheep stations"
LOLLL omg that almost seems a bit psycho and narcissistic
Is this post for real? Seriously?
Yes Ashes really forgot to take his meds that day!
Seems Ducati HQ were not monitoring his posts to see where they went wrong.
Great to hear! I've heard the same thing from a few local friends who went to the tradex show yesterday as well. I'm very much looking forward to seeing it for myself tomorrow. Thanks for your input.I just got back from my local bike show and seeing the v4 for the first time in the flesh, and I have to say I was so impressed with the overall look and presence of the v4 Pani.
Tbh, I was surprised at how much better looking it is in the flesh than in photos. I mean, I liked how it looks in photos, but it just looks meaner, more purposeful, and overall more attractive in person. Smaller as well, like "wow, it's really small"! The tank is a little bit bulbous, perhaps, but not in any kind of cartoonish, doesn't fit the rest of the bike or design kind of way.
Anyway, after seeing the v4 Pani in person I am very impressed. It is one badass looking, lights the fires of moto lust, want one so very badly, kinda machine. I am very envious of all of you who have one on order and will be riding one in a few months time.

As it should be. Funny I was just talking with my buddy about this today. 2 years ago the h2 was roped off, although its the same price range as the panigales. Last year, the fireblade Sp was roped off, although again its relatively inexpensive. These are all mass production bikes. Especially in vancouver where it seems like every other high school kid is driving a lamborghini/ferrari/Mclaren, I don't see why they rope them off. A motogp bike I can see them doing that, but a mass production bike... I don't see the point.I was also impressed with the fact that the bike wasn't roped off up on a stand or anything. It was just right there along with all the rest of the current line up, you could sit on, fondle, inspect up close from every angle, etc. That made me very happy! But the crowds didn't!!
Looks subjective....laptimes objective....
Ashes, you generalise far too much in saying no one like the V4, how on earth can you say this when you are talking about subjective features of a bike?
Cheers
I said no one liked what they saw of the leaked photos, which was accurate. People either hated it, were hopeful it was just a test mule, or reserved judgement until the official release. Regardless, at that point, fans were the minority if not non existent. I completely agree, looks are subjective, and once the bike was officially unveiled there were parties on both sides of the fence.
Most interesting to me were those that condemned it, then immediately supported it upon its release, despite the production model mirroring the leaked photos perfectly.
More like, if you put livery/decals on the V4 (speciale) it actually Bullys all other paint schemes/looks of the previous models. So yeah, people are 100% justified about that.no one can possibly like the looks of the v4 when compared directly to its predecessor. if they claim to, they are lying (to themselves) or have no design sense whatsoever.
