Dumb question about transporting the pani in a pickup

Yes it is, but OP said he did not want to ruin his Tacoma and not drill holes in it, so thought I mentioned he would have to drill holes in the bed if he were to get the Pitbull system. I know a few people who drive trucks but don't use it to haul stuff. They say it's cool driving a truck. LOL. To each their own.

Yeah but the plate stays in place and is non-obtrusive to hauling anything. It's flat! What can be easier than that?

I have a nice Tacoma that I would rather not ruin. I would like to use it to transport the pani when needed and was looking into a wheel chock to help secure it. What is the best wheel chock to mount into the bed of a pickup that comes with a nice setup and mounting hardware and is not going to end up tearing up the plastic bed liner or causing the metal to rust out if I put holes in it since it always rains here?

I have a Tacoma as well. Currently use the Cycle Cinch II straps with the Sato race hooks. Very solid.

The problem with the pit bull stand is that it mounts on the rear wheel. Given that the bike doesn't fit completely into the bed, this won't work.

Check out the Condor Chock. I plan on putting one in my truck at some point.

If it was my truck, I wouldn't mind drilling holes. OP said he didn't want to drill holes in his truck, so I was reiterating what he said.

I have the bed extender and the full size bed and I think a wheel chock would be helpful and also wouldn't mind having one in the garage anyway

nice i also have 6 foot bed, just align the tie down hooks near the front of the handle bars, rachet strap on each side, then one in the back your good to go.

I wouldnt use a rachet strap as the temptation to over tighten is there. push release strap is really all that's needed. If you use a ratchet be careful

+1 - ratchet is fine for rear tire, but when suspension is invled, us it by compressing, attach, release pressure.
