Great thread! I used to run Q2s on my track R6 and absolutely loved them. Sold that bike and picked up an Aprilia RSVR and mounted the Q3s on it when they first came out. Never got to try them on the track but I'm sure I would've loved them
Because I was skeptical the Q3s didn't come in a 200 rear, and I'm always on a budget, I chose to go with the Bridgestone RS10s. The front was golden and with the DTC on 4 it was coming on A LOT...but still not very intrusive on most corners. Experienced some bouncing on the harder throttled exits. I had about 150 miles on the street (here in Omaha that doesn't mean .... as the roads here are mostly straight) before my track day on them a few weeks back. This is what my tire looked like after 64 laps. I could've gotten a couple more sessions on them but their performance was clearly affected at this point and the TC would be coming on at damn near every corner.
After reading the Q3 is virtually the same dimensions I can't wait to get back on Dunlops.
