Dyno Day Results

The dealership I work for had our 19th anniversary open house and we brought in a mobile dyno so anyone could get in line and have a go. Being the employee who made the sign-up sheet, my name just happened to be at the top.

I still had the rear-wheel sensor connected but had turned off all the nannies in 'Race' mode.

All that's been done to mine is the Termi Full system and accompanying up-map.

Results 168.47/83.95

Where that put me as compared to others for the day (same class).

2015 ZX10R - 185.49
2016 ZX10R - 184.88
2013 S1000RR - 184.10
2013 1199 - 168.47 Me
2015 GSXR1000 - 159.65
2004 R1 - 156.81
2007 CBR1000 - 156.79
2003 GSXR1000 - 152.45

My totally biased opinion... The 1199 sounded the best on the dyno. lol

Nope... No one was. lol

The S1K was running a full system and he mentioned the ECU had been tweaked accordingly. The '16 ZX10R had the ECU revamped to get rid of the US restrictions but they were still working on the mapping, it was also running a pipe. The '15 had the usual goodies.

On a side note the girl who had the '15 10R also had a '13 ZX14 that put down 211hp (most on the day and 20hp ,more than another '13 ZX14 that ran)... Girl knows what to do to a bike.

Sounds about the same as my 2012 1199S RWHP wise (169), but I was in the upper 80's for torque.. Full termi with rexxer flashed ecu.
Rear wheel sensor still hooked up.

those zx10's really do produce a huge amount of power it's no wonder they have been so successful in WSBK

you have to disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor for a true read out.. its higher than that..

What does the sensor do to curb HP if you shut off the traction control, etc..?

Seems that the ECU is calculating some of the fueling based on the speed and runs rich to compensate for the ram air effect. With the sensor disconnected the additional fuel is not delivered.
