Hello
In the summer, my '14 1199 battery died so I replaced it with a Leoch YT7-B4 / YT7B-BS Sealed Gel battery. (Get a Shorai I hear you cry!). It worked fine for a couple of hoons.
Anyway, 5 months later (of no riding) I go to ride the bike. It doesn't start and makes a clicking sound and reads "unknown device" on the screen. My immediate thought = blown fuse. Before I went on an electrical ghostbuster hunt, I measured the battery which reads 13.47 when still, 13.00 when key is turned to boot up the computer. Is this healthy?
So I've ordered an Optimate 4 to possibly rejuvenate the battery.
Any other obvious checks?
Slicker
Context: bike was in a garage for months due to;
A) UK weather
B) it was parked in a friend's garage as it's luxury to own one in my neighbourhood
