Empty original exhaust

would like to get some video to see how the sound is so i can make the decision of whether i want to do this. (meaning buying from you) my main focus for doing this is sound and not HP.

I opened it up from the top around the welding but, its a pain in the ass to have this working...

I will make some more photo’s tomorrow

Btw, I got a Termignoni exhaust with the muffler removed and pipe polished and it looks amazing!!!

btw, I left the mount still there just to see if it doesn't perform well on track. So far on the road it drives well, and hella loud!!!!! I also put extra hose clamps on it!
Now looking to buy some honeycomb mesh to cover it!

Where I live are no sound restrictions on track!

Hello, greetings to all I'm from Spain, and I can't find any information here, so I'll have to empty the leaks you could put more detailed pictures of the inside of the exhaust, so you can know, where to cut, to remove the catalysts
 
Lo sé amigo, he visto que el phl forero, tiene un gran conocimiento de este tema y está dedicado a hacerlo, pero como soy de España, me he complicado, así que puedo hacer este trabajo, así que pido ayuda
 
What’s crazy to me is how small the exit pipe diameter is especially compared to my 1299 Akra exit

Even if you look at the exit diameter of the the Akra on V4, it’s tiny. there’s another less expensive slip on option discussed on this forum and I feel like an improper exit diameter could only hurt engine performance even with tuned fueling. Thoughts?

I think gutting the factory exhaust system is the way to go, unless you have $7,000 for full Akra system install

Hola, bien, una pregunta, si vacio, los dos cilindros de los catalizadores, y el resto del escape lo dejo como está,? Me quitaré el calor, la bicicleta, pero el sonido, ¿sería bueno?

I hope to find out in april. I plan to dyno that "other" slip on exhaust. I wanted to dyno the stock exhaust, then the Jester with both the T800 upmap and the brentuning option. However I didn't realize the t800 vin locks as well. I thought I could either borrow a T800 or buy one and then resell it. Because it VIN locks, the test will likely only be with the tuning option I choose.

Arctic, I am praying that the Jester works out incredibly well. it’s got the factory look I like and I’m sure it’s going to sound awesome
 
definitivamente reducirá la retención de calor, el diseño original seguirá presentando una buena obstrucción en el flujo

CUANDO VEA CÓMO LA ENTRADA HORIZONTAL LLEGA A UNA PARED Y LO PEQUEÑOS QUE SON LOS PUERTOS DE SALIDA, HAY HABITACIÓN PARA MEJORAR
