Hi Guys,

Needs some help to source a 'cap' which protects the connection from the ECU to the exhaust servo motor. This is normally supplied when you buy a termi slip on kit or a full kit but I got some slip-ons second hand and this little thing is missing. The cap can be seen in the attached photo.

TIA

Yoshi

I just used heat shrink on mine, squashed it down and folded it over.

Also does anyone know where to get a replacement connector for the servo motor main harness side.

Its the one left behind when you unplug the servo motor.

You don't need it, thats why is not coming with "racing
kit. ( no error code, just unplugged it)

Yup no error codes. I still wouldn't mind having the plug though. I looked over the instructions for the Akra kit that came with the Anni and no mention of it. Also nothing in the Akra part number breakdown.

I've gone ahead and purchased the connector even though I didn't get a reply from the shop to confirm. I did however do a search for Honda/Acura Air/Fuel Ratio - AFR Sensor Connector (mentioned on the description) on Google and found photos which are an almost exact match so what the hell.

Got a reply from the owner of the cycleterminal.com. He confirmed that the photos I posted to him are the connector Sumitomo HV040-06 male. Phew!

Alright! Great news! I'll have to order one. I prefer to have it plugged also.

Don't forget to order the dummy plugs at the bottom of the page to seal it.

From that website which one is the connector left behind when you unplug the flapper motor mine is damaged?.

6 pin HV .040 Female Connector - with Terminals and seals
Terminals Fit wire size .5 - 1.3 mm (18-22 AWG) Japan
6189-4070

Correct????

Yes, that should be the femaie connector which is part of the wiring loom, the male is the connector from the exhaust valve motor.

No error codes that you can see on the dash.. but there will be an internal error code. Doesn't affect the performance tho... Only way to get rid of it is flashing the ECU to disable the servo. (I dont know if rapidbike or any other add on device can do that as well or just a flash)

Yeah, I agree with Twisted. I just want to cap the connector to prevent water getting in. I did find this website which sells Sumitomo HX 040 plugs. Waiting to get confirmation that the plug is correct;
Sumitomo HX .040 - .090 Connector and Terminals

Wont you need the blanking seals as opposed to the normal wire seals for this connector, else you will have a cap with six holes in it.
